    Medical interventions: injustice from pharmaceutical companies

    Medical research is often supported by a collaboration between scientists and pharmaceutical companies. As these private companies usually have maximising profits as their primary motive, this leads to medical breakthrus that don't have the effect on society as they perhaps should. For instance, most COVID vaccines went initially to relatively rich countries, while developing countries struggled to afford the financial 'cost'.

    Our research approach

    Research projects like ours provide an alternative, where the research and associated methodology are more inclusive & transparent, allowing more people to contribute while also not restricting access. This is in contrast to pharmaceutical companies that put up walls around 'their' research using Intellectual Property laws, arguably deceleration innovation. More assertively, our organisation is refuting the morally-devoid bullshit that these companies, and the folks with PhDs enabling this behaviour, are spruiking.
